Job Description
Looking for an IT Network/System Administrator to configure, maintain, upgrade, and manage various network devices and IT systems in our New Orleans based office as well as for our US-based remote staff. As part of a global team, you will be supporting our US-based teams and be closely work required to work in close collaboration with your India based counter-parts.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users where cross-cultural work is part of the fun, not a burden.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently and fulfills international industry standards in terms of security and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Sound knowledge on Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP either on Windows Server or Linux.
- Practical experience on Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower Firewall (NG-IPS, Content Filtering, and AMP).
- Sound Knowledge on VLAN, FireSight VM, and Firepower modules.
- Hands-on experience in installation, the configuration of Routers, Switches, firewalls, DNS, Wi-Fi.
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses.
- Good communication skills and intercultural sensitivity
Optional Skills:
- Knowledge of Symantec Endpoint Protection and its policy management.
- Knowledge of industry standards IT security Policies such as (ISO, SOC, …)
- Implementation of technology infrastructure and best practices for remote staff
- The ability effectively to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work on a weekend on-demand basis and dynamic office environment.
Total-experience: 5+ years in the above skills.
Salary: Negotiable or high salary for deserving candidates.
