Job Description
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of others? Do you want to learn new skills that can launch you into a stable industry with long-term career growth?
Join the New Orleans Career Center (NOCC) and for an employer-sponsored six-week training program to become a certified Patient Care Technician and gain on-the-job development as a full-time healthcare employee. This training is delivered 100% online with both group class and independent work time across a 5-week time-span. Participants spend full days with the cohort learning and preparing for the national Patient Care Technician certification, and upon passing receive an immediate job offer from LCMC. The job will start at $11/hr and benefits kick in within one day of employment for new hires who enroll in benefits plans within 31 days from their hire date.
We just need you to have your high school diploma, GED, or HiSet equivalent to apply. If accepted into the program, you will need to be able to commit full-time during the training weeks and be ready to start the job immediately after the training period.
