<p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Travelers Aid provides Crisis-Intervention counseling and support services for the homeless and stranded travelers who may become homeless. Travelers Aid is committed to preventing homelessness and helping homeless or stranded families and individuals regain a self-sufficient lifestyle.</span><br></p><p><font face="Arial">Travelers Aid provides homeless individuals and families in the New Orleans Area with the following services:</font></p><ol><li><font face="Arial">Street Outreach</font></li><li><span style="font-family: Arial;">Day Shelter: A Safe Haven from Harassment and the Elements</span></li><li><font face="Arial">Crisis Counseling, Walk-in Appointments: helping clients meet their goals through direct aid and case management</font></li><li><font face="Arial">Self-Help Employment Program (SHEP): assisting clients with job readiness and the means to seek and keep jobs</font></li><li><font face="Arial">Permanent Supportive Housing: Housing for chronically homeless and/or disabled individuals and families</font></li></ol><p><font face="Arial">All Services are offered to persons regardless of race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation or economic status.</font></p>
