Education and Experience:

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or other related technical field; or, at minimum, an Associates Degree and equivalent, relevant experience.

• 2+ years prior IT support experience.

• Gaming/Media Industry Experience is a plus – development, testing, publishing; handling confidential data.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the NOLA Service Desk and the efficient and timely delivery of IT support to the QA testing teams.

• Provisioning of testing equipment to QA projects in a timely manner.

• Daily administration of firewall in line with company standards and best practices.

• Daily administration of local servers, systems, and network devices.

• Liaising with clients to ascertain and implement their IT and security requirements.

• Implementation of global policies defined by the IT Director and Head of InfoSec.

• IT Procurement for this facility.

• Negotiation and maintenance of vendor and consultant contracts and service agreements.

• Maintain a testable disaster recovery plan for all IT services.

• Maintain complete documentation of all services and systems.

• Managing and auditing of all IT assets in the facility.

• Vulnerability scanning and patching of endpoints and infrastructure hardware.

• Addressing security events raised by the SIEM solution.
• Financial/Budget Management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to understand the goals and strategies of both the business and IT and translate these into deliverables.

• Ability to multitask and support various groups of users.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints.
• Team player – working effectively as part of local and global IT teams.

Essential Technical Skills:

• Current server, PC and mobile hardware including blades and SANs.

• Solid understanding of the principles of networking, related technologies, and hardware.

• Industry recognized qualifications in IT hardware support – CompTIA A+ or equivalent.

• Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012, 2016; Windows 7,8,10, OSX, iOS)

• Server Virtualization (VMware).

• Firewall technologies.

• Thorough understanding of Active Directory.

• VoIP phone systems.

• PC image deployment technologies.

• Encryption technologies.

• Backup systems – (LTO, B2D, Dedupe).

• Exposure to ISO 27001, MPAA or other security standards would be a strong advantage.
• CCNA or other networking training and qualifications.
