Job Description
Hospitality of New Orleans is currently seeking a rock star social media intern to join our brilliant team and help us get to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Create monthly social media calendars for multiple platforms
- Responsible for working with the Director of Marketing to create short and long term plans for all our social media platforms and strategize exciting ways to promote us
- Post to Instagram, Facebook, pinterest, Twitter etc... daily
- Manage each account (includes responding, commenting, and actively engaging)
- Assist with on-site photoshoots
- Compose website blogs
- Analyze and track statistics for each platform
- Research local influencers for potential partnerships
- Keep up on social media news, trends, and tips for maximizing engagement
Requirements
- College student or recent graduate. This internship is non-paid, but we offer school credit.
- Obsessed with social media and always in the know
- Have experience working with facebook, instagram, pinterest, twitter, tiktok, and YouTube
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong caption game
- Graphic design/Photoshop/Illustrator skills a plus
- Must be able to work in New Orleans
Logistics
This unpaid internship begins asap and a commitment of at least 3 months is required. You must be available to work 10-20 hours per week. Must be based in New Orleans, however, you can work remotely except for a formal once-a-week meeting with the Marketing director.
