QSS began in May 1995 as a service contractor to local municipalities. Founded by Terry McCall, the organization primarily focused on the management and operation of dining facilities, campus dining services, corporate catering for large organizations and government agencies, and janitorial services. As time progressed, the company diversified its services to include landscape maintenance and warehousing.

Today, QSS provides building and facilities services to governmental (federal, state and local), and large commercial clients.
