The SMS Group of Companies is a Maltese family business which started in the 1860s with offices in Malta's Capital, Valleta. In 1996, SMS International Shore Operations, LTD. was created to cater to various operations related to servicing cruise liners. In 2011, SMS International Shore Operations US, Inc. set its headquarters in the "Cruise Capital of the World," Port Miami, FL.

Today, we handle cruise operations for AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Viking Cruises, and The World. Our operations take place from the East to West coast of North America in ports out of Astoria, Boston, Brooklyn, Cape Canaveral, Catalina Island, Fort Lauderdale, Lost Angeles, Miami, Monterey, New Orleans, New York, Portland, Prince Rupert, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria.
