Fifth District Savings Bank
Accounting / Banking / Finance
Orleans Parish, St. Tammany Parish
50-100 Employees
Established in 1926, Fifth District Savings Bank is a federal savings association. Our goal is to support the rebuilding of the New Orleans area by offering a variety of quality financial products with service that exceeds our customers' expectations. Our primary mission is to provide a safe, secure place for local depositors to invest their savings and to reinvest their deposits in home mortgage loans which enable our borrowers to buy, build, and repair homes in our community. Fifth District began in Algiers Point and continues to expand our footprint throughout the metropolitan area with offices located on the Westbank, Eastbank, and Northshore. We recently opened our Covington, Lakeview, and Marrero branches, incorporating a significant amount of modern banking technology - video drive-up, an automatic cash recycler, self-service coin counter, and a tech bar. These technologies, in combination with the personal service expected from Fifth District, allow us to provide the best customer service experience possible. As we are excited for the future, it is our goal to stay true to the founding values of the Bank.
