The Crown & Shield Foundation utilizes the power of storytelling and media production to educate and inspire today’s youth. We do this by creating scripted and unscripted content for kids. Our unscripted content is produced through partnerships with public schools in New Orleans. To date, we have worked with almost 800 kids, teaching them about the elements of a good story then and asking them to share stories of their own. We film our students telling their stories for our YouTube channel, giving our local non-profit a global digital footprint.
Nolalympics is our annual fundraiser.
