The New Orleans Police Department is a constitutional police department who's mission is to provide professional police services to the public in efforts to maintain order and protect life and property. The NOPD's vision is to make New Orleans one of the safest cities in the nation. While we are always looking to add more commissioned officers to our team, we believe that building a strong team starts from within, which is why we're here to recruit dedicated individuals who are skilled to assist with internal affairs.
