* Personally responsible for Planning and Running a $ 7.4 million Capital Campaign for the Construction of Hope Lodge Cancer Hotel and securing gifts for the facility –Duties included the oversight of entire process: research, volunteer placement and continued operational strategies; Data gathering and application to Constituents, Boards and National Officers: Soliciting the Financial assistance from Local, State, National  boards / Officials as well as Corporate, Foundation and Governmental entities.

 

The Pat Taylor –Hope Lodge, New Orleans, was opened in 2006, due to a delay from the aftermath and reconstruction of the immediate Lodge area from Hurricane Katrina. The Pat Taylor-Hope Lodge provides 34 Hotel suites with an attached private Bath. A Commercial Kitchen, Dining Rooms, Library, Work – out Room and other amenities. Additionally, the grounds include the Regional Office for the ACS –New Orleans, two large parking lots as well as the addition of a Courtesy Hope Lodge Van to transport Cancer patients,
