Our History

NEW ORLEANS IS ONE OF THE WORLD’S MOST UNIQUE PLACES. People from all over the world come and stay in New Orleans for the spice of life that flavors everything from food and art to architecture and local festivals. This has never been more evident than in the time following the devastation of Katrina. Though the landscape may have changed, the City has been born anew, ensuring our unique heritage will live on. As the City has changed, so have Anne and Joyce. In 2011, Joyce Delery and Anne Delery Comarda decided it was time to evolve, just like their beloved city. They founded Delery Comarda Realtors and opened their doors with 2 additional agents.

Since February 2011, the Delery Comarda team of agents has continued to grow. In fact, so much that the company outgrew its original location, spurring Delery Comarda Realtors to move to a larger, freshly renovated space. The one thing that has remained constant is the company’s dedication to professionalism, current technology and knowledge of the community.

SISTERS ANNE DELERY COMARDA AND JOYCE DELERY WERE TAUGHT THE MEANING OF LAGNIAPPE EARLY IN LIFE AND CONTINUE PUTTING A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA INTO EVERYTHING THEY DO.

As members of one of New Orleans’ oldest families, Anne and Joyce embrace a way of life that has been handed down for generations. Their late father was one of the City’s most respected judges and one of the founders of the Ozanam Inn Shelter Homeless.Educated at the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Newcomb College of Tulane University; Anne and Joyce were instilled with the belief that there is always something more to do to make a difference. They have been active volunteers for neighborhood groups, charities, social committees and local schools.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, with their own homes destroyed, Anne and Joyce worked tirelessly with other realtors and neighborhood groups to help their friends and neighbors figure out what to do when faced with an unprecedented reality. They were founding members of LARU – Lake Area Realtors United – a group of Realtors from the Lakefront area of New Orleans who got together and helped each other get information to homeowners and buyers to bring the City back.
