Upriver Solutions is an upskilling, placement and retention support company that aspires to dramatically transform the workforce of the future. Our mission is to source, mobilize and train underutilized human capital and redeploy them in growing industries in an increasingly knowledge-based economy​. ​Implicit in our mission is that a significant portion of America’s underutilized and unemployed human capital are people of color. Therefore, our goal is to connect employers looking to hire a diverse workforce with well trained candidates of color while helping employers develop and retain talented employees. We are focused on in-demand jobs in the growing technology sector but will add other industries as we scale.

Upriver Solutions operates Skillz Academy, a bootcamp focused on training talented candidates for business oriented roles in the technology sector. We are currently offering our first course "Selling Smart - Modern Strategies for Technology Sales", an 8 week immersive sales bootcamp located in New Orleans.
