The North Star and mandate for Research & Development at the Jim Joseph Foundation is to catalyze and manifest the aspiration that all young Jews in North America are motivated, mobilized, and supported to imagine, create and participate in their Jewish future for the betterment of society, and our individual and collective lives.

We will accomplish this by discovering the unknown, by identifying unmet needs, aspirational users, and new partners, and by launching new critical projects. Fueled by ideation, testing, and learning, new capabilities will be developed that generate new value propositions. This is inherently a creative endeavor.

The Jim Joseph Foundation is one of the largest and most influential philanthropic foundations in the Jewish communal space, housed in San Francisco, with an R&D outpost based in New Orleans.
