Studio West is a women-owned practice of architects, designers, interior designers, and planners based in New Orleans. Rooted in the American South, our work emerges from a deep understanding of design as a social endeavor, one shaped by authentic engagement with people and place. Before founding Studio West in 2018, Principals Jennie and Jason accumulated decades of combined experience at large-scale national firms, contributing to over 1,000,000 total square feet of built work. Our team is currently engaged in master planning, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, workplace, cultural, educational, hospitality, and community engagement planning projects.

Notable recent work includes the transformation of the decommissioned Algiers Ferry Terminal into a public venue; the urban design for a more cohesive Downtown Tulane Campus; and The Temple, an award-winning adaptation of a historic church into a residence and community arts space. The practice has received numerous regional and local awards for design excellence and historic preservation. Studio West is certified in DBE, SBE, and LED Hudson Initiative Status.
