First Tee delivers life skills and character education to young people through the game of golf. Nationally, First Tee has reached 10.5 million young people since its inception in 1997, having a positive impact on participants, their families and their communities. First Tee Greater New Orleans was established in 2004 and currently serves over 30,000 youth participants through out-of-school time programs and outreach activities.

First Tee’s mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

We provide after-school programs during the week, Saturday classes and summer camp at thirteen local golf facilities in Orleans, Jefferson, Lafourche, Plaquemines, St. Tammany, St. Charles and St. John the Baptist Parishes.
