New Voices New Orleans (NVNO) is a multi-site children’s and youth chorus serving over 200
singers across six programs at four schools. Our mission is to engage singers throughout the city
in dynamic performances that unlock creativity, embolden self-expression, and empower civic
voice.
Since 2021, NVNO has prioritized movement training and storytelling within vocal music
education, fostering musical literacy and confident performance. Through this innovative
approach, our singers become culture-bearers for New Orleans, deeply rooted in intentional
community.
