Liberty House

E B Liberty House was founded in 1993 as a transitional living program for young women, ages 16 – 25, homeless with children. We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Housing 16 families for up to two years, our home is set up with a two year program designed to keep our families safe and to provide holistic wellness. Our mission is to take these families from homelessness (and hopelessness) to permanent housing and a stable life and future. This is accomplished through training in basic life skills such as parenting, budgeting, career and spiritual growth and stress management. E B Liberty House also operates a Class A Day Care Center in-house that allows parents (as well as community children)to work off-site and be assured that their children are safely cared for. There is little question that enhancing the services available to young women with children in need of shelter and economic empowerment is E B Liberty House’s highest priority and one that will have a dramatic impact on the community.
