Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation

Orleans Parish

Organized in August 1988, the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation (GNOSF) is a non-profit 501(c) (4) organization whose mission is to attract and manage sporting events that have a positive economic impact on the Greater New Orleans area. Throughout its 30-year history, the GNOSF has hosted and been awarded hundreds of events and turned a $40 million public investment into a $3 billion economic impact for the State of Louisiana and the Greater New Orleans area. In 2013, Super Bowl XLVII alone generated an estimated $434M economic impact, with $15.2M in state tax dollars.

The GNOSF has a long standing reputation of hosting events of all sizes, and a rich history of working with world class national governing bodies that include the NFL, NBA, NCAA, AAU, and numerous professional and amateur organizations to host some of the most memorable Super Bowls, Final Fours, Junior Olympic Games, Bassmaster Classics, and Olympic Trial events.
