Celebrating over 50 years, NOBA | The New Orleans Ballet Association is a non-profit organization fiercely dedicated to serving the community. The dynamic programs and distinctive, hybrid structure is divided into two programming elements: 1) Main Stage Series: Annually NOBA produces in depth residencies from some of the most renowned and compelling dance companies in the world, including, for example, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, Tango Fire of Argentina, and Les Ballets de Monte Carlo; and 2) Education and Health and Wellness Programs: For over 30 years, NOBA's mission has centered around building its comprehensive, nationally recognized programs that educate, train, nurture and promote healthy lifestyles and healing through the art of dance. NOBA's community-based programs are tuition-free and provide over 5,000 activities annually.
