The Made in New Orleans (MiNO) Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization's mission is to develop educational resources and programming to support pathways in food and business in New Orleans for people of color. We provide resources to support culinary talent at an advanced level with developing the essential business skills needed to own and operate a culinary business. We believe in the importance of increasing visibility and access to opportunity for chefs of color is in and out of the kitchen. Our comprehensive approach addresses these issues with four interdependent programs: Culinary Scholarship, Graduate Showcase, Build Your Business, and Community Outreach.
