Our Company

Global Parking Systems, LLC (GPS) was founded by Ronald V. Burns, Sr. in 1994. The company is corporately based in New Orleans, LA and has regional offices in Dallas and Houston. Global has been providing airport parking management services to several airports throughout the United States as well as to other high profile public venues since 1995.

Global is both a certified ACDBE and DBE firm at several airports throughout the United States and provides comprehensive parking management services, including facility maintenance, license plate inventory (LPI), license plate recognition (LPR), valet services and shuttle operations in airports and other public facilities.

Global is proud of its long-standing partnership with SP+ Corporation. The company has operated in partnership with SP+ at major airports since 1999. Together with SP+, GPS manages parking, facility maintenance, and shuttle and/or valet services at airports and public facilities, in cities such as New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX, Dallas, Tx, San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; Salt Lake, UT; Portland, OR; and Sarasota, FL.

Today, Global operates in over fourteen markets and employs a dedicated team of professionals in various capacities throughout the nation.

 The company continues to expand its service offerings to include valet parking, on-street management, and municipal parking, toll collections, and special event parking. Global is in partnership with Duncan Solutions to manage parking meter processing and ticket collection services to the City of New Orleans. Global continues to focus on growth in several emerging markets within the industry to expand its national footprint.
