MISSION AND VALUES
Mount Carmel Academy is a private, Catholic high school for girls in grades 8-12 in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. It is conducted by the Sisters of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who have educated young women in New Orleans since 1833. The atmosphere of the school and the individual attention given to each student encourage and foster emotional maturity and spiritual development.

The vision of Mount Carmel Academy is to prepare girls to become confident women who follow Jesus through living the Carmelite spirituality of being open to God in all the events of life and by providing a Catholic, academic, technological, innovative education empowering students for life today and the world of tomorrow.
