United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area is looking for Resource Development Interns to work directly with its campaign staff by assisting in the managing of fundraising campaigns during the Fall Semester, 2009. A minimum of 15 hours a week is required, and candidates must have a car. This internship includes a $500 stipend per semester. Some job responsibilities include: Work cooperatively with campaign staff in assisting and managing the planning, marketing, implementing and evaluating of United Way fundraising campaigns within a group of assigned accounts. Assist campaign staff achieve the highest degree of customer service, including timely response to messages and other actions. Assist campaign staff in the administrative aspects of company fundraising campaigns, including ordering and delivering of campaign materials; scheduling agency speakers and agency tours. Assist campaign staff make employee solicitation presentations to small and large groups about the impact of United Way in the community.
