Katie Koch LLC, is a custom Drapery Workroom in New Orleans. 

Position Summary: 

Full Time or Part Time - hourly position that produces hand sewn drapery (some machine work). The position Seamstress must be able to excel with a multi-cultural team. We promote an open, inclusive environment that emphasizes cooperation and teamwork.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities and Competencies:

• Highly skilled at hand-sewn fabrication of window treatments, cushions and pillows, bedding, and pattern/template making.

• Materialize the design vision 

• Weekly meetings with the production staff to review work orders for the week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years experience working in an equivalent workroom.

• Must be able to work evenings or weekends if required by production schedule.

• Must be able to read, write, and converse in English.

• Finely tuned attention to details.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
