Lede New Orleans is a community journalism nonprofit that equips creative professionals from underrepresented communities, age 18-25, with skills, tools and resources to transform local media. We do this by training the city’s next generation of storytellers to tell stories with and for their communities, engaging the community in critical civic discussions, and producing equitable media that engages New Orleans and its neighborhoods. We envision a future where local media reflects the people, priorities and aspirations of all communities.
