Perch offers a spectrum of forward-thinking styles for the home. 19th century pieces coexist with avant-garde contemporary, modern lines merge artfully with antique & vintage objects. Think the New Orleans look with a progressive twist. Perch also offers full design services including custom window treatments and upholstery, space planning, staging, and color consultations. Perch was founded in 2007 by owner/decorator Caroline Robert. Shortly after Katrina, Caroline and her husband Andre wanted to invest in the city.
The building which houses Perch - an 1860's cottage located on Magazine Street in the historic Garden District came available. They renovated it and brought it back to its original beauty with large windows and grand 13 foot ceilings. Caroline scours the country's contemporary markets, estate sales and auction houses to find items for the well curated collection of furnishings of perch as well as clients' homes. Caroline found her niche in the interior design realm of New Orleans designing residential spaces and commercial.
