The American Cancer Society's Shuck Cancer event, in partnership with Superior Seafood, is ready for its 4th annual party with a purpose on November 18, 2021. After a year of virtual fundraising, we plan to return in-person for the best block party in town! We plan to showcase oysters from across the country, wine pairings, live music, and mobile bidding for our silent auction. Hosted by the Society’s Junior Executive Board, every year we recognize 20 "Shucker" honorees who raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission. Since its inception in 2018, Shuck Cancer donors have raised $325,800 for our Community Transportation Grant Program benefiting cancer patients in area health systems, helping to equalize cancer outcomes in our community.
