LSU Health New Orleans is located within the biomedical district of New Orleans. It consists of six professional schools and twelve Centers of Excellences. The School of Public Health (SPH) offers degrees at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD level in Public Health. The SPH is CEPH accredited and maintains a diverse research portfolio with funding from NIH, CDC, and a variety of other state and federal agencies and private institutions. The School’s mission is to advance the public’s health and well-being through education, research and service with a focus on issues affecting Louisiana.
