McEnery founded the company in 1980 with an initial focus on commercial real estate brokerage and historic building re-development services with complex inclusions and reliance on historic tax credits and industrial revenue bonds.  

In the intervening decades, The McEnery Company established itself as a stand-alone diversified real estate services company with a widely respected reputation for real estate valuation services across the Gulf South.  Throughout this transition, the company significantly expanded our brokerage, project management and consulting service platforms. From being retained as the lead real estate expert for the BP Deepwater Horizon litigation to recently listing and closing some of the highest priced home sales in the New Orleans area, The McEnery Company has developed a proven ability to service all aspects of real estate brokerage, real property consulting, project management and real property valuation.
