CEEAS is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving schools in juvenile justice facilities across the nation. We help schools in locked facilities implement transformational, student-focused practices designed to significantly improve the life chances of the students they serve. CEEAS is widely recognized as a leading voice in the effort to reform schools in juvenile justice facilities. CEEAS is led by David Domenici, co-founder of the Maya Angelou Schools in Washington, DC.

Our Vision
We see a time when all students, including those who are locked up, will attend schools that value them and provide them with the tools they need to become free, contributing members of our democratic society.
Our Mission
