About Kim4Kids
Kim4Kids is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic offering occupational, physical, and speech therapy in a warm, play-based, and family-centered environment. Our team helps children build skills for everyday success through movement, play, and connection.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a compassionate, creative, and organized team member to support our therapists in both individual and group sessions. This position is ideal for someone with a background or interest in Recreational Therapy, Child Life, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development who loves engaging with children through play and wants hands-on experience in a collaborative therapy setting.
An understanding of—or genuine interest in—developmental, relationship-based approaches such as DIR/Floortimeis highly valued. Our clinic emphasizes connection and co-regulation over behavior compliance, and we’re seeking someone who approaches children with curiosity, empathy, and respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist OTs, PTs, and Speech Therapists in individual and group therapy sessions
- Engage children in play-based and sensory-rich therapeutic activities
- Support group programs and transitions with patience and positivity
- Help design, plan, and lead small group activities or enrichment programs under therapist guidance
- Maintain clinic organization, cleanliness, and readiness between sessions
- Prepare materials, restock supplies, and assist with light administrative or scheduling tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in Recreational Therapy, Child Life, Psychology, or a related child development field
- Experience working with children (clinical, camp, or educational settings)
- Reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable supporting both therapy activities and overall clinic organization
