Job Description

$15.5 per hour

TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position.

JAZZ FEST EVENT DAYS ONLY: April 10- May 08, 2025


POSITION SUMMARY:

This role supports the Merchandising Recruiter in handling daily office and staffing responsibilities during the Festival.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Daily distribution of personnel tickets for staff admission.
  • Escort daily staff to work locations as needed.
  • Input merch booth timesheets into Google Spreadsheet.
  • Work with Merchandising Recruiter and Booth Managers to reconcile missing times on employee timecards.
  • Maintain files and contribute to office organization.
  • Assist in calling staff in case of rescheduling or weather cancellations.
  • Assist Merchandising Recruiter with payroll tasks.

Requirements:

  • Utilize the Absentee Request Form for accurate absenteeism reporting to the Festival Finance Office.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality on sensitive issues.
  • Return Festival-owned intellectual property at the end of each production year.
  • Complete all required Feedback Forms.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:


This position requires computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word and Excel (Google Docs and Sheets preferred). Knowledge of MS Access is helpful. Basic financial accounting knowledge is essential, and the ideal candidate should be task-oriented, able to follow directions, and possess well-developed communication skills.
