The NOLA Business Alliance is a public-private partnership that serves as the City of New Orleans' official economic development organization responsible for driving the long-term economic vitality of the city. Its mission is to drive economic performance in Orleans Parish by articulating a value proposition that positions the community for long-term investment, managing diverse interests to spur wealth creation and job growth, and creating a sustainable economic vision that builds on the city’s rich heritage while recognizing global trends and emerging opportunities. The NOLA Business Alliance is beginning its charge by focusing on corporate business attraction, business retention and expansion, and retail development. The alliance is led by a 17-member Board of Directors composed of a cross section of New Orleans business and civic leaders including Mayor Mitch Landrieu.
