Sci Academy seeks a committed, hardworking candidate to coach and build our new track team. We need someone with track and field experience.

Responsibilities
• Create long-term training plan (syllabus)
• Plan daily lessons, which keep students engaged and accountable throughout practice
• Create tracking system of student performance
o Track individual member performance
o Use data to create individualized training plans
• Uphold high expectations, while in practice and at meets for each team member
• Build a core of leader team members to help facilitate practice
• Consistently communicate with scholars, parents, school team and other track coaches

Time Commitment
• Part-time. Practice will take place every Monday-Thursday from 5-6:30PM.
• Must accompany team to all meets. Minimum of 6. Usually held on Saturdays
• Track Season: Beg. March through the end of May/Early June

Qualifications
• Highly Organized
• High school track team experience required
• Experience coaching preferred
• Desire to coach and train both a boys and girls
• Experience in training interval work outs
• Flexibility in planning and scheduling
