BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applicant will perform a variety of tasks within the Commercial Lending Department that promotes the economic development of the communities that ASI serves by providing cost effective financial services for the benefit of our members who are our primary focus. Responsible for interviewing loan applicants, gathering the required information for a credit application, explaining loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements. Will analyze credit data, business and personal tax returns and financial statements. Be able to identify trends and ratios that could affect a borrower’s repayment capacity. Maintain and review all pertinent documentation . Package portfolio and SBA loans documentation for approval.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of extensive commercial credit experience, specifically as an analyst, in underwriting and in documentation.

In depth understanding of financial statements, tax returns and other credit/financial information. Will be proficient in performing financial analysis, credit investigation and exposure evaluation.

Ability to read and interpret business and personal credit reports and information.

Ability to effectively negotiate contract terms that help meet company objectives.

Ability to work within tight timelines and schedules.

Sales skills necessary to develop and maintain productive relationships.

Bachelor's degree required, with concentration in finance or accounting preferred.

Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of credit granting and regulatory requirements.
