Responsible for submitting HUD sub-grantee reports on a quarterly basis, as well as completing applications for future year funding for the homeownership counseling program. Assists in research of new mortgage programs and funding related to first-time homebuyer program and low-income homebuyer program. Will coordinate all homebuyer education efforts including both homebuyer education workshops and one-on-one housing counseling to ready potential homeowners for the purchase process. Develop and execute an aggressive outreach strategy to ensure that agency meets its fiscal year program goals. Must have an ability to review client files and determine mortgage readiness, excellent communicator, with an ability to interact effectively with individuals from all walks of life. Must possess dedication to community development and mission of serving underserved communities and financially disadvantaged families. Ensures all HUD files are kept up-to-date and meet all compliance requirements, including online client records through Fannie Mae’s Home Counselor Online (HCO) system. Responsible for developing and administering Homeownership Individual Development Account (IDA) Program, marketing the program, securing funding for additional participants and approving qualified participants, tracking funds, helping participants generate match strategies and completing weekly and monthly progress reports. Responsible for acting as nonprofit liaison with partners. Assist in developing procedures, participation, funding, IDA asset accumulation, and progress/obstacles towards homeownership. Responsible for identifying and recommending new community partnerships and volunteer opportunities, selecting and presenting these opportunities to SVP. ***HUD Certification preferred.
