IDscan.net primarily serves enterprises that need to confirm age or identity for regulatory reasons (e.g. casinos, bars, alcohol vendors, etc.) or retailers dealing with high-value items that wish to reduce transaction time (e.g. jewelry and auto retailers). Position Description
The Vice President (VP) of Sales and Business Development will support the Managing Partner and CTO in the development and growth of the business. Areas of responsibility will include management of all sales and business development activities, training and overseeing associated sales and business development personnel, financial reporting, development of the company’s media and marketing collateral both online and offline, search engine optimization and marketing, improvement of company internal processes, and day-to-day operations.

This position is an opportunity to join the senior management team (reporting directly to the Managing Partner and CTO) of an innovative start-up. The VP will immediately be given substantial responsibility and room for growth.

Qualifications
• Experienced businessperson with proven track record of a minimum of 3 years in sales and business development environments. Experience running a sales team a plus but not required.
• Expertise in Excel, CRM software, and other business tools and software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills in regards to colleagues, company executives, and clients.
• History of experience that highlights resourcefulness, initiative, and action-orientation as well as very high work product.
• Exceptional work ethic, character and integrity.
• Ability to work well in a small team environment, and the ability to organize and manage a sales pipeline.
• High level of organization and detail-orientation.
• Capacity to both execute and devise systems for future growth.
• Belief in IDscan’s mission to address age and identity verification to improve the operations of retail and hospitality businesses.

Compensation
• Compensation is based on salary plus profit sharing.
• Three weeks paid vacation
• Opportunity to help build an organization from the ground up and receive immediate high-level responsibility
