Perform a wide variety of duties associated with Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain Safe Work Environment
• Interpret complex blue prints and be skilled in the use of metrology equipment (OGP, CMM, etc.)
• Serve as liaison for the company and suppliers to resolve non-conformances. Interact with all levels of management, engineering, purchasing, planning and suppliers.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, drawings and other documentation for quality requirements.
• Assist Operations with continuous improvement activities by providing guidance and leadership
• Serve on various review boards or committees
• Develop, monitor, and report appropriate metrics that monitor the effectiveness of processes
• Verify customer QA inspection requirements to ensure products delivered are being followed with accurate, thorough, and complete inspection records
• Oversee the in-process and final inspection processes for receiving
• Perform advanced quality planning activities including preparation in design reviews and FMEA's; author and manage control plans and shop floor quality documents
• Utilize mistake proofing and robust design interventions to prevent problems from returning
• Review and approve First Article Inspections
• Understand the standards, implementation, and certification process of Quality Management Systems such as AS/EN9100, ISO-9001, or any other industry-specific standard or regulation
• Must be able to communicate company policies and philosophy effectively to all employees.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Quality experience within manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of standard quality concepts such as statistical process control, FMEA, PDCA cycle, process diagrams, etc.
• Must possess excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work through issues to find win-win solutions.
• Working knowledge if Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required.
• Must exhibit a high level of motivation, sense of urgency, attention to detail, and have an energetic approach to job duties and requirements.
• Must be technically knowledgeable and capable of grasping detailed engineering and quality concepts.
