St. Bernard Project seeks experienced construction estimator to compile material take-off specs and job estimates on a contractual basis for residential rehabs and new construction. The job specifications and materials vary per project based on funding source, which can include government grants and contracts. Of these contracts some jobs are required to meet Green Coast Enterprise and Builder’s Challenge, which the contracted estimator will be responsible for completing necessary paperwork.

Essential Functions:
? Conceptual estimating based on scope of work and contract requirements
? Material Take-offs and pricing of key trades, whether in-house or subcontracted
? Specification review
? General conditions review
? Completing the following documents: material take-off, project budget and depending on specific job Green Coast Enterprise and Builder’s Challenge paperwork

Qualifications:
? 3-5 years experience in residential construction estimating
? Conceptual Estimating (including Pricing)
? Scope of work writing
