Position Announcement: Executive Director, Breakthrough New Orleans(formerly Summerbridge)

Breakthrough New Orleans(formerly Summerbridge) seeks an experienced and dynamic program leader to build on the organization’s foundation and drive its pursuit of excellent programming and sustainable funding into the future. Reporting to the Head of Newman School, the Executive Director will use a collaborative style to ensure achievement of all organizational goals of delivering outstanding programming. The main responsibilities for the position are categorized as follows:
? Leadership: articulating the program’s mission and strategic vision to a diverse constituency
? Finance and Fund Development: managing and sustaining the program’s annual budget of $300,000 through a comprehensive fundraising campaign that includes grant writing.
? Organizational Development: supervising full-time staff of three administrators and coordinating activities with Advisory Board of approximately 15 members.
