iPhone Game Designer (All levels)!
A worldwide leader in game development for mobile phones and downloadable content, is seeking Game designers and Level Designers to join a new studio based out of New Orleans with a focus on creating AAA Iphone Games. Qualified candidates will link up with top tier creation teams to develop new game titles, covering a wide range of genres, based on both new and existing IPs.

As a key member of the first development team at the new studio, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of design and innovation within challenging parameters while working with other team members from the initial pitch through the development cycle to the final delivery.

What we need:
• Lead Game Designers
• Game Designers
• Level Designers

Day to Day:

• Designing all aspects of the game for one of the following game genres:
o Action / Adventure (urban-themed, military-themed, etc.)
o Social Life Sims (life simulations, etc.)
o Casual Games (puzzle games, card games, etc.)
o Sports and Racing (team sports, racing, individual sports)
• Complete benchmarking & competition research
• Communicate with a team of artists and programmers to ensure creative vision is fulfilled
• Collaborate with design team to produce innovative ideas for new concepts and existing design issues
• Effectively receive and provide constructive criticism

Candidates must have:

• Ability to create a feasible game model based on a variety of tools and methods
• Skilled at documenting ideas, concepts and technical designs in a format that is easy for all team members to understand
• Thorough understanding of video games and their commercial appeal to the general public
• Think creatively, work well independently and as a team player
• Ability to successfully convey your vision and motivate team members

Extra consideration if you have:

• Successful developed and shipped AAA titles and iPhone games!
• 3-5 years of experiences on creating games for console and mobile phones.
• Sports game expert, you love to create, watch and play any type of sports.
• Experience with design software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe Photoshop, Maya, etc.)
• Familiarity with C++ and JAVA
• Strong knowledge of wireless devices, encyclopedic knowledge on iPhone will be a huge plus!
• A love for video games, inside & out
