Intralox, LLC has an opening for a Senior Engineer who excels through innovation and invention. In this position, you will be responsible for the development of new products. Intralox LLC pioneered modular plastic belting in the conveyor industry, and remains on the forefront through innovation and constantly striving for solutions that better meet the conveyance needs of customers. Headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana we are the world's largest manufacturer of modular plastic conveyor belts.

Responsibilities: * Research new technologies; identify opportunities to bring innovative solutions to market. * Translate customer needs to products Intralox can provide. * Oversee design and prototyping of new product(s). * Outline plan to test performance of proposed new products in target application(s). * Evaluate results of analysis and testing to determine refinements/improvements required. * Coordinate and monitor initial installations of new product. * Actively participate in group design reviews and mentoring programs.

Requirements: * BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * 10 years of design experience * Self Managed and Organized * Advanced analytical skills * Strong mechanical aptitude(‘Hands-on” person) * Strong project management skills * Ability to direct administrative, technician and engineering resources * Strong verbal and written skills * Solid Modeling/CAD Experience * PC expertise (word processing, spreadsheet, database)

Desired Qualifications: * Proven inventions with existing Patents * Plastic part design experience * Knowledge of polymer materials
