Responsibilities:

? Analyze the data provided from contacts, one-on-one and group counseling session to adapt the scheduling of dyads
? Supervise and manage team of two crisis counselors and two resource linkage coordinators in helping address the needs of disaster victims.
? Provide supervision and support to team members.
? Designate location and meet with team twice daily to assign duties and debrief.
? Insure adequate staff coverage is provided.
? Oversee the quality of counseling and support services provided.
? Assist staff with issues facing individuals served; help staff identify and access community services needed and assure timely, appropriate in-house and existing community services referrals and timely follow-up.
? Provide encouragement and support to team members.
? Complete daily paperwork and track data and prepare reports (as required).
? Pairing with the Resources Linkage Coordinators to do assigned field duties when Crisis Counselors are providing one-on-one and group services
? Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

? Experience in the mental health field
? Research and writing skills
? Education in mental health field
? Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience
(at least 1 year previous experience as outreach specialist or Crisis Counselor may substitute)
