Position Overview:
The Industry Research/Data Analyst will be responsible for data collection and analysis for the purposes of a policy paper and the development of future programs of the Southeast Louisiana Fisheries Assistance Center (FAC). Responsibilities include research, data collection and data analysis

Responsibilities:
• Engage in business assessment and date collection of clients;
• Monitor and track progress of clients;
• Process and analyze data;
• Draft policy paper; and
• Participate as needed in special projects.

Qualification/Skills:
• Bachelors degree required;
• 3 to 5 years of related research experience required;
• Prior policy work experienced required;
• Relevant experience in processing and analyzing data required;
• Experience handling highly sensitive and confidential business matters and information required;
• Must possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team;
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential; and
• Must have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize responsibilities in order to meet deadlines and to successfully manage multiple projects to conclusion.

Compensation:
Salary depending on background and experience. Full benefits package.
