Intralox, L.L.C., the world leader in modular plastic conveyor belting, has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to work in its ThermoDrive Manufacturing Department. Responsibilities:

• Develop and recognize employee talents to foster growth inside Intralox.
• Determine capacity needs to meet growing demand, assimilate a variety of expanding and unique processes, and make technical recommendations.
• Serve as a liaison with our Engineering departments to ensure communication is clear throughout the department.
• Develop evaluation and training programs to provide the necessary level of skills for the successful operation of a technical production processes.
• Responsible for the Safety, Quality, Capacity, and Efficiency performance of the department in addition to being able to meet the technical challenges of the job.
• Ensure all belts are built to the required quality standards, service level, and efficiency as set forth by Intralox.

Requirements:

• B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited university.
• 5 years of previous supervisory skills managing 15 or more employees
• Previous Manufacturing experience
• Computer proficiency in standard Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong leadership skills and possess a positive, “can-do” attitude.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime and on weekends as required.
• Work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines.
• Perform a variety of tasks in support of the short- and long-term goals of the department.
• Must be willing to travel internationally, as needed, estimated at 3 to 4 times per year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial )
• Thermoplastic welding
• RF technology
• Managing highly artisan manufacturing skills
• Demonstrated success in assimilating various new technologies from a startup phase
