PeopleSoft Functional tester-mid level
Duration: 4 months only
Location: NOLA
US Citizenship required and a minimum of an interim Secret Clearance required to start

The position participates as a member of the Test & Evaluation Team providing testing solutions to the IPPS-A Project. Designs, develops, and implements testing methods to perform functional testing. Provides the test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing procedures or new testing requirements. Writes test scripts, designs test procedures, and test cases. Analyzes test results and compiles metrics.

Broad experience with PeopleSoft 8.9 HR or Higher and Payroll software required
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Global Payroll preferred
Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the functional testing field
Previous experience in the design and execution of functional test methods.
Understanding of the PeopleSoft application architecture.
Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
Ability to work under general direction.
Independently determine and develop the approach to solutions.
Contribute to the completion of specific projects and objectives.
Self-starter with excellent time management skills
Ability to solve problems, creatively and analytically
Experience working with information systems
Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
Proficient in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications

Minimum Experience: 5 years with Bachelors; 3 years with Masters. An additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Must be able to obtain a DOD SECRET Security Clearance and to start must have an interim Secret Clearance.
