Intralox, LLC currently has a mechanical design position available in the Engineering Department. This individual will be primarily responsible for supporting new product development by designing and building test equipment. Opportunities are also available for additional responsibilities including the development of machine control and data acquisition systems, material testing, data reduction, and simulation work (virtual product development).

Responsibilities:

• Basic project management (develop and maintain project scope, task lists, timelines)
• Communicate and interface with team members and internal customers on project status
• Create 3-D test equipment designs using SolidWorks software
• Create fully detailed 2-D fabrication drawings of the designs
• Specify and order components
• Assemble, troubleshoot, and qualify the designed equipment
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing test equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or comparable design experience
• Strong CAD skills
• Strong computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of basic machining techniques (mill and lathe)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A self managed team player

Desired Qualifications:

• Machine design experience
• Solid modeling software experience
• LabVIEW or DASYLab programming experience
