We are currently hiring for the 2011-12 Americorps season for a Site Manager position that would start on September 1st and requires an 11 month/1700 hour commitment. This position is jointly responsible for managing the construction and repair on projects enrolled in the Housing Recovery Program as well as on-site support for Community Development Projects. Each Site Manager will be responsible for quality control and completion of project tasks in a timely manner. They will be the main point of contact for daily worksite responsibilities, will supervise and train all volunteers assigned to their project on a daily/weekly basis, and will be responsible for worksite safety and volunteer productivity. Compensation includes:
$1000/month (before taxes) living stipend, payable twice a month over the course of term
$5,550 education award in the form of a voucher valid for up to 7 years. This may be used for student loans or tuition to pursue further education
